Each week we minister to children throughout our Sunday school, Junior Church
and other ministries. Our Children’s Ministries exists to carry the message of
Christ to the children of our community, showing them love and acceptance. We
will help them to understand and apply God’s word.
Sunday School
We offer a graded Sunday school
program. This allows our teachers to have a greater impact on the individual
students. These dedicated teachers pray for their students on a weekly basis
and prepare lessons that are dedicated to systematically teach the Bible and
its doctrine in terms that are relevant to the age group.
Our children look forward to
Sunday and we are certain your children will too. Our children’s ministry is
full of excitement, fun and most of all great teaching from God’s Word.
Junior Church
During the 11:00 hour, your
children will experience a Junior church service that is as full of energy and
excitement. They will memorize Scripture, play games, sing Christ honoring
songs, and hear Bible preaching in terms appropriate for their age. Most
importantly your children will hear a clear presentation of the Gospel and will
learn powerful truths from the Bible that will stick with them for the rest of
their lives.
The purpose of our Junior Church
program is to prepare the students to eventually make the transition to the
main worship service.
Junior camp is designed for
children between the ages of 8 and 12 or 3rd – 6th grades. The preaching is
geared towards teaching juniors character through dramatized Bible stories and
dramatized preaching. Games, activities, memory verse time, morning and evening
services are all part of the daily schedule.
Our juniors spend their week at
camp at the Camp Victory in beautiful Somerset, Kentucky.
